How to compare two drives
Compare at the same capacity. Price per gigabyte, rated write speed and endurance all change with size, so every drive comparison here lines the two up capacity by capacity rather than quoting one headline figure.
Between two SSDs, the things worth weighing are price per gigabyte, whether the drive has its own DRAM cache, whether it uses TLC or QLC memory, how much writing it is rated for, and its warranty. Sequential speed is the number on the box and the one that matters least for games. Between SSDs and hard drives, the question is different: speed against space for the money, which is why those pages compare price per terabyte rather than scores.
